SAINSBURY'S SUPERMARKET PROPOSALSainsbury's is proposing to develop the derelict former William Armes factory site in Cornard Road into a super store with its full range of products. On 18th and 19th June Sainsbury's gave comprehensive presentations on their plans. However the site belongs to Bovis, who have a planning application in for 121 houses. The Society has called a Town Meeting for Friday 16th July in the Town Hall at 7 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to state their views. We expect several of the Councillors, who will make the decision to be present to hear your opinions. Come and have your say. |
