Gainsborough House Needs Volunteers!

Gainsborough’s House, the birthplace museum of Thomas Gainsborough, relies on volunteers for much of the day-to-day running.  Volunteers are needed to act as room stewards and to man the Coffee Shop.

For insurance purposes the House requires six volunteers a day to ensure that the exhibits are secure.  The House also requires three volunteers a day to run the Coffee Shop.

Do you enjoy Art and the History of Art?  If you do, did you know that for as little as two to three hours per month you could enjoy the surroundings and friendliness of Gainsborough’s House?

Anyone interested is invited to a Coffee Morning on Thursday 23 July 2009 at 10:30 am, when they will be shown around the house and any questions you may have will be answered.
